Happy 5th Birthday Mini: Dom and Geri Product Review

Mini recently turned 5 years old on 2nd October. It was quite a milestone for her as it marked her moving from a little one into a grown-up girl who is smart, funny and fiercely independent.

This year we didn’t have a big birthday party for her as we had spent the weekend away in Blackpool as part of her birthday celebrations. We did, however have a tea party at Nanny’s house with a few of her friends after school and wanted to make sure that she had a special day. This was especially important to me as this would be the first year that she would be at school and I wouldn’t be able to spend the whole day with her.

I was contacted recently by Dom & Geri (www.domandgeri.com) with an opportunity to review some of their personalised party products, it sounded like a great opportunity to add a special touch to Mini’s birthday.

There is a large range of items on the website with lots of different designs to choose from. I selected a personalised birthday card, large sheet of personalised wrapping paper and a personalised banner. You can see the range of banners available at www.domandgeri.com/shop/personalised-banners/

I was super impressed with the delivery speed, I made my order one morning and the products were with me the very next day. The birthday card did arrive bent in the post, despite being well packaged. Dom & Geri handled this fantastically and sent me a new one straight away.

As soon as I opened the products I felt that they were high quality items, the paper/card used for all of the items was thick and glossy.

We chose some of Mini’s presents to wrap in the paper and used the banner to decorate our living room for when she woke up on her birthday. She loved seeing the wrapping paper with her face on and wondered how it was made.

She also enjoyed opening her card and was able to read that it had her name on the front. She has quite an unusual spelling to her name so she is never normally able to get personalised products, this made the items even more special to her.

She loved the banner and seeing her picture across it on the wall. I liked the fact that the banner can be used again for future birthdays.

I was able to move the banner to Nanny’s house to decorate the party room for her tea party after school. I received quite a few comments about how professional and high quality the banner looked.

The personalised items went down really well with Mini and helped her to feel extra special on her birthday. I don’t think that I would order the personalised paper for every birthday but would definitely consider it for a big or special birthday or event to really make it stand out. I would definitely recommend Dom & Geri products based on my experiences and would be happy to place an order with them in the future.
