Review: Lucky Fortune Collectible Bracelets

Mini has just turned 7 years old and is enjoying having some pieces of her own jewellery to wear. She was therefore very excited to receive a package of lucky fortune collectible bracelets. Surprise toys are definitely a popular option at the moment, with a huge range of these types of toys and gifts available. Mini too loves these types of gifts and couldn’t wait to open her fortune cookies to see what was inside.

Each fortune cookie contains a surprise bracelet, which comes with a charm attached and a paper fortune for good luck. The bracelets are easily adjusted to size by a pull chord mechanism, to fit securely on the wrist. I liked that the paper fortune was written in four different languages. Mini and I enjoyed trying to read them in the different languages before reading the English version. The fortune cookies can then be reused to keep the bracelets in.

The bracelets can be collected, worn on their own or together, and can also be traded with friends. Inside each fortune cookie there is also a collector’s guide so children so keep track of the ones they have collected. This also doubles up as a paper fortune teller, I used to love making these with my friends at school. Mini has had fun asking us questions to try to tell our fortunes, unfortunately it said I wasn’t due for a Lotto win anytime soon!

There are 100 different lucky fortune collectible bracelets in the collection with four levels of rarity. The charms are grouped into five themes to collect including; Success, Love, Adventure, Friendship and Happiness. There is also an ultra lucky real gold dipped four leaf clover to discover. Mini received 5 bracelets to open and didn’t have any duplicates. She was also very pleased that she found one of the “very very lucky” charms.

The bracelets are a fun idea and give children a taste of jewellery and gives them an opportunity to have something special to collect. I think the bracelets are well designed and look very cute. The charms are very sweet and there is a huge range to discover from animals, food items and popular icons. When going out to a party or a special event Mini loves to pick some of her bracelets to wear to go with her outfit.

The lucky fortune collectible bracelets start from £4.99 for one and £14.99 for a pack of four take out box. I think this makes them a great pocket money treat for children. Additionally they would be good value as a gift for birthdays and Christmas.
